Pipe Network Troubleshooting Game
Eight faults show up on an abstract pipe network. Read the symptom and pick the fix that treats the root cause, not the noise.
Conceptual failure modes only, for demonstrating diagnosis logic.
Frequently asked questions
How do you play the pipe network troubleshooting game?
Eight fault scenarios appear one at a time. For each one you read the symptom and pick from three possible fixes. The network health reacts to whether your fix treated the root cause.
What counts as a good fix?
A good fix addresses the root cause, not the loudest symptom. Choosing it raises system health and lifts your diagnosis count; a wrong turn lowers both.
How is my result scored?
Your final system health sets the rating: 95 percent or more is S, 80 and up is A, 65 and up is B, and below that is C.
Is this a real diagnostic tool?
No. It is a conceptual teaching model about failure modes such as cavitation and water hammer. It must not be used for real safety or engineering decisions.
