Frequently asked questions

Which parts do you fit in this puzzle?

Nine parts of an espresso machine: the chassis base, water tank, pump, boiler, group head, portafilter, drip tray, steam wand and outer casing. Each one drops into its own dashed box on the cutaway.

What does the extraction demo show?

Once every part is fitted, press play. Cold water is drawn from the tank, pushed by the pump through the boiler, and the heated water then flows down through the group head and coffee puck to drip into the cup.

Why does the casing go on last?

The casing wraps the whole machine, so its dashed box overlaps most of the others. The game places the small, specific parts first and only accepts the big casing box when nothing smaller matches.

Is this a real espresso machine?

No. It is a simplified teaching cutaway that shows how the water circuit is laid out, not a service manual or a buildable design.
