Logistics Bottleneck Diagnosis Simulation Game
Watch a five-station flowline for eight shifts. Read the queues, find the constraint and relieve it — the only lever that lifts the whole line.
An abstract flowline model, for demonstrating bottleneck logic only.
Frequently asked questions
How do you play the bottleneck diagnosis game?
You watch a five-station flowline for eight shifts. Each shift shows the queue at every station and asks which station you would relieve. Throughput reacts to whether you picked the real constraint.
How do you find the bottleneck?
The constraint is the station that is holding everything up. In a simple flowline it is the station with the longest queue, because work piles up just before the slowest step.
How is my result scored?
Final throughput sets the rating: 145 or more is S, 120 and up is A, 95 and up is B, and below that is C. The end screen also shows total output and low-value moves.
Is this a real logistics planning tool?
No. It is an abstract teaching model that shows how one constraint caps an entire line. It is not a real planning or operations tool.
